All procedures are performed at the Vein Institute (V.I.) by experienced and accomplished board certified V.I. physicians. You begin with a consultation with one of our physicians, your history is taken, a physical exam performed and a preliminary diagnosis is made.

An ultrasound may be scheduled during this visit to confirm a diagnosis, and subsequently will be performed at V.I. in the region's only accredited Vascular Ultrasound Lab. The ultrasound will guide the physician in choosing the procedure that best serves your needs.
