For our patients’ convenience and assurance, we offer the region’s only fully accredited Vascular Ultrasound Laboratory providing expert ultrasound diagnostic evaluations confirming your V.I. physician’s findings. Therefore, all V.I. patients enjoy the convenience of knowing all aspects of their diagnosis and treatment take place at the Vein Institute.

The Procedure

• The Vein Institute Vascular Ultrasound Lab employs the use of current, noninvasive ultrasound technology to assist V.I. physicians in the treatment of venous disease of the legs at the practice.
• The ultrasound technology is also used at the Vein Institute to diagnose a host of problems throughout the ‘vascular tree’ such as carotid artery disease, abdominal aortic aneurysms, arm and leg artery blockages, deep venous thrombosis and phlebitis.
